Mount Agung Sunrise: Short Hike or Long, with Safety Gear Provided

Two versions of the same night. The short hike is the one to take if you have never done a volcano before; the long one is the full ascent, and it asks for more legs and more hours. Either way the walk starts late at night with a professional local guide, through forest trails and then volcanic ground, under the stars. The summit comes before dawn. The sun rises over the cloud layer, with Bali underneath and, when the air is clear, Mount Rinjani across the water on Lombok. Breakfast up there is simple. Then the descent. Safety equipment is provided, and the guides work on the culture and history of the mountain as well as on the route. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are included.
