A volcano simulator inside the Harpa concert hall, which is the last building in Reykjavík you would expect to hold one. The ride lasts 10 minutes: motion seating, real heat effects, and footage of Icelandic eruptions on screen. It is the nearest most people will get to standing next to one. The ticket also covers the pre-show area, which is worth arriving early for and adds around 30 minutes. There is live eruption footage, four volcanic short films, an interactive map of the eruptions, a live earthquake monitor showing what the ground under Iceland is doing at that moment, and the Instacrater photo experience. The earthquake monitor is the part worth standing in front of. Iceland registers tremors constantly, and watching them arrive in real time explains the country better than any caption. Shows run every 15 minutes, and the minimum age is 4. It is on floor K2 of Harpa Concert Hall, Austurbakki 2, in central Reykjavík.

What's included
