Fagradalsfjall, then the Seven-Step Ritual at Sky Lagoon
Ratings collected by Tiqets
Two halves that do not resemble each other, and the second one is hot water. Fagradalsfjall is the youngest volcano in Iceland, out on the Reykjanes peninsula, where the North American and Eurasian plates are pulling apart. The walk goes up to a viewing point over the volcano and the lava fields around it, with the coast beyond them. Afterwards, the Sky Lagoon and its seven-step ritual, which is built on the way Icelanders have bathed for a very long time. The peninsula is a geopark, and standing on the drift zone between two continents is the part people underestimate before they get there.
