Teide via Vilaflor, with Lunch at Garachico and Masca Last
Ratings collected by Tiqets
The order is what separates this one from the other trips covering the same four places. The road up from the south stops at Vilaflor for a break before the park, which matters more than it sounds once the altitude starts to tell. After Teide National Park the route drops through the Orotava Valley to Icod de los Vinos and its dragon tree, the emblem of the Canary Islands. Then the north coast, and lunch at Garachico rather than at Icod. Masca comes last: a village at the bottom of deep ravines, reached by a road that turns back on itself again and again, with vegetation thick enough on both sides that you notice the difference from the ground crossed in the morning. Back to the pick-up point at the end of it.
