Rio Celeste Hike with Swimming and Lunch at Don Alexis Farm
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
La FortunaTenorio Volcano National Park holds the stretch of the Rio Celeste that people come for, and the walk through the rainforest reaches it in stages: Los Borbollones, the blue lagoon, and Los Teñideros, the junction where two streams carrying different minerals and different chemistry meet and the water turns turquoise from that line on. The Rio Celeste waterfall is the last of them. The swimming comes after the park. The group stops at an old tree for a photograph and carries on to Don Alexis Farm, where you can get into the river, take a hammock for a while, and sit down to a Costa Rican lunch.
