The only live lava show in the world, and the mechanism is exactly what the name says: real lava, superheated until it flows, then poured into a showroom with an audience in it. The heat reaches you. That is the point, and it is the part no film of an eruption can deliver. The show has won awards for innovation and for the teaching side of it, which is the other half of what happens: what molten rock does as it cools, why it moves the way it does, and what an eruption involves at close range. Two tickets are available. The Classic experience, and the Premium experience, which is for ages 13 and over.
