Kawaguchiko with Live Translation in 75 Languages (Bring Earphones)
A day at Lake Kawaguchi and the Fuji country, with one feature the other tours here do not have: live translation. Alongside the English-speaking guide, the commentary runs through a real-time voice and text system covering up to 75 languages, Spanish, Italian, German, French, Russian, Indonesian and Chinese among them. Bring your own earphones, because the audio channel needs them. The route takes in Oshino Hakkai, the village of clear spring ponds under the mountain, with thatched roofs and shops along the lanes. Lunch is around Fuji Q Highland, either included or on your own depending on the option you booked. The cruise leaves from Appare Pier, passes under the Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge, and rounds Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five Lakes. Your guide hands over the cruise tickets at Kawaguchiko and leaves you to use the time as you like. The bus leaves the Yaesu Bus Terminal at 7:50 and does not wait for anyone. Meeting is at 7:40 on B2. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.

Meet at 7:40 AM on B2 of the Yaesu Bus Terminal, and check the departures board for the boarding bay. Look for the staff member in yellow with a sign. The bus leaves at 7:50 sharp and does not wait.
Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is a village of clear spring ponds fed by snowmelt, with Mount Fuji over it, thatched roofs, shops and a slow pace. Worth walking rather than ticking off.

A stop at Fuji Q Highland around midday. Lunch is provided or not depending on the option you booked; without it, you eat where you like.

The cruise leaves Appare Pier, passes under the Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge and rounds Unoshima, the only island in the Fuji Five Lakes. Admission is included when the ticket option is taken.

- The departing and returning buses are different, so you will not be able to store your luggage on the bus.
