Etna Excursion 4X4 Jeep Tour in the morning - Live an adventure!

The route is driven in 4x4 jeeps, which is what lets it reach points a coach cannot. It starts at the lava flows that destroyed Etna villages in past centuries and ends at the ski and tourist station at around 2,000 metres above sea level. Between the two: a volcanic cave entered with helmets and torches, a lookout over the Valle del Bove, and a walk around the side craters, the Silvestri among them. Etna has more than 300 extinct lateral craters, which is a figure worth holding on to when you are standing beside one and it looks like a one-off. The guides work through the history of the mountain, how it has changed and what it is doing now, for the length of the trip. At the meeting point you will find the vehicles themselves: a white Land Rover Defender and a dark grey Toyota Land Cruiser.

What's included

  • Private transportation
  • Equipment for visiting the cave (helmet and torch).
