Vulcano and South Lipari by the Seat, with a Beach Lunch Stop
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Aeolian IslandsBooked by the person rather than by the boat, which is the difference between this and taking the whole thing privately. The skippers are Aeolian and know Vulcano corner by corner, including the caves that are not on anyone's map. The day works its way round the island with a lot of swimming at the points worth stopping at, and time given to the volcanic activity the island is named for. Lunch is ashore on a beach, with local food. Vulcano in one line: black sand, caves worth a mask, food made where it is served, and a mountain that has not finished. Departure is from Lipari, at Piazza Sant'Onofrio in front of the Francesco restaurant, under the castle wall and in front of the fish seller.
