Lipari by Boat with the Pumice Sea, and Two Stops on Salina
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Aeolian IslandsLipari's coast changes colour along its length, and the boat runs the whole of it: volcanic cliffs, caves, the main beaches, and a number of coves no path reaches. The water off the pumice is the pale turquoise that comes from white stone on the seabed. Two stops on Salina. Santa Marina Salina, and Lingua, where lunch is and where the salt lake sits behind the shore. Places are sold one at a time rather than by charter, and the departure runs once four people have booked. Wind, waves and weather decide how much of the route is possible. The full circuit needs all three to behave. The boat leaves from under the castle wall in Lipari, in front of Restaurant Francesco.
