A full day in the southwest of Jeju with English-speaking guides, and one promise that shapes the whole thing: no shopping stops, no hidden costs, no optional add-ons sold on the bus. What you book is what the day is. The route covers Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, the Jusangjeolli cliffs, Songaksan and the O'sulloc Tea Museum, along the south coast. The first stop is decided on the morning by the weather and the traffic: the 1100 Highland, Saebyeol Oreum or Eorimok, and if none of the three is reachable, Camellia Hill instead. The pace is arranged for people seeing Jeju for the first time, with the driving and the timing handled. One practical warning the operator repeats: the bus cannot stop for more than a minute at the pick-up points, so be ready ten minutes early. Look for the guide holding the YEHA sign. Pick-ups run from 08:25 to 09:00 depending on the point, with the airport at Gate 4 on the 3rd floor. The day can end with a drop-off at Dongmun market on request. That part is not guided. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.

Jeju Lotte Duty Free entrance. Pick-up at 09:00.

  1. Jeju 1100 Altitude Wetland

The first stop is chosen on the day for weather and traffic: the 1100 Highland, Saebyeol Oreum or Eorimok. If none of them works, the group goes to Camellia Hill.

  2. Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff

Jusangjeolli is hexagonal basalt, cut by lava and then by the sea. The columns stand in ranks along the coast with the water breaking at their feet, and the rock is dark enough that the light changes what you see through the day. At sunset the whole wall turns amber.

  3. Cheonjeyeon Falls

A waterfall in several tiers, surrounded by thick forest and the stories attached to it, at the end of one of the best short walks on the island.

  4. O’sulloc Tea Museum

An easy walk between the tea rows, with tastings, desserts and the exhibition rooms at Korea's leading tea museum.

  5. Songaksan Mountain

An easy walk on the coastal trails of Songaksan, one of the most striking volcanic formations on Jeju. The views take in the ocean, the cliffs and the islands offshore, and the guide covers the geology and the history while you walk. Suitable for anyone.

  6. Visit Bomunsa Temple

Bomunsa Temple sits on the slopes of Sanbangsan, among volcanic cliffs and rock formations. A short walk around the grounds, with the ocean below and Sanbangsan behind, on some of the most distinctive ground on the island.

  7. Dongmun Market

Not part of the guided tour: guests can ask to be dropped here at the end. Dongmun is Jeju's busiest market and has been the centre of local life for decades. The stalls carry mackerel, abalone and sea urchin, and tangerines in piles. The street food is jeon fried crisp, hallabong juice and grilled skewers. At night it turns into a food market, and the alleys are the fastest way to understand what people here actually eat.
