Sky Walk, Sky Tram and Sky Trek at Arenal: 7 Cables up to 660 Feet High
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
La FortunaThree activities on the same reserve, taken in order. Sky Walk is the ground part: a guided walk through the rainforest of the Arenal area with suspension bridges strung across it, where the guide picks out the plants, the animals and the birds as you go. Sky Tram carries you to the top of the reserve by cable car, which is also the one stretch of the day where you can look around without holding on to anything. Sky Trek is the way down, on zip lines. Seven cables, 1.7 miles of cable in total, with individual runs between 100 and 2,460 feet and a maximum height of 660 feet. That is well above the treetops, and it holds the volcano and the lake in view for as long as the run lasts. You can make your own way to the park, and there is parking on site.

The tour starts with Sky Walk
The day opens with Sky Walk, a guided walk that puts the rainforest of the Arenal area and the suspension bridges together. Flora, fauna and birds are what the guide is finding along the way. Sky Tram comes next, carrying you to the top of the Arenal reserve. From there the run above the treetops begins, on a system of zip lines that gives you the rainforest from an angle the ground cannot. Sky Trek is the last of the three: 7 cross-sectional cables, 1.7 miles in total length, with individual runs from 100 to 2,460 feet and a maximum height of 660 feet. That clears the treetops, with the Arenal volcano and the lake in view.
