Roque Nublo with an Authorised Guide, Six Passengers Maximum
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
Gran CanariaSince 2025 you cannot drive up to Roque Nublo. The parking is gone, and the only ways in are public transport or an authorised guide, which rules out visiting the place on your own. This one is run by two local Canarian guides, Inés and Juanjo, with a maximum of six passengers. It is not a coach going from one commercial stop to the next. The walk is 3 km with about 300 metres of ascent, starting at 1,500 metres and finishing at 1,800. It is rated easy. The day also takes in the middle of the island: the Barranco de Fataga with its palms, the Santa Lucía valley, the Barranco de Tirajana, and San Bartolomé de Tirajana, where Maspalomas began. The history, the culture and the legends come with the guides. A picnic of sandwiches and fruit is included. Pick-ups run between 8.05 and 8.30 from six different points, and the note on each says which to choose depending on whether you are driving or coming in on the L1 or the L30. One condition: all sales are final, and a cancellation is not refunded.
