Riding on Vesuvius the Parelli Way, from Pollena Trocchia Station
The horses here are handled by ethological methods, on the ground and in the saddle both, built on communication, respect and the relationship with the animal rather than on force. The approach comes from the system of the horseman Pat Parelli. That makes it a different way of being around a horse from the traditional one, which rests on coercion. All of it takes place inside the Vesuvius National Park. The meeting point is outside the Pollena Trocchia stop on the Circumvesuviana line.

Free cancellationHorses on Vesuvius at 500 m, at a Walking Pace
5.0 (150) 5.0 stars out of 5, 150 reviewsThe horses go to 500 metres and no further, because local law keeps them off the crater, and the pace stays slow the whole way. Not a ride for galloping.

Vesuvius with a Volcanologist, and Time to Stay at the Top After
4.9 (14) 4.9 stars out of 5, 14 reviewsThe guide is a volcanologist, so the climb from Quota 1000 is about how the mountain works. At the top you can stay on after the tour ends. Capri in view.
