Rafting 29 km of the Pacuare from Turrialba, with Lunch at the Take-Out
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
San JoseThe Pacuare is rated the fourth best river in the world for white water rafting, and this run covers 29 km of it. The put-in is deep in the rainforest. Certified guides run the safety briefing and the instructions before anyone gets on the water, and then the river does the rest. What you see from a raft is not available any other way: primary rainforest on both banks, waterfalls that can only be reached from the water, and stretches of country with no road to them. A typical Costa Rican lunch is waiting at the end of the run. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.
