Mount Batur Sunrise by Private Jeep, and the Black Lava Field

Sunrise over Mount Batur, reached by jeep rather than on foot, and then the black lava field the old eruptions left behind. The climb is the part most people worry about, and here there isn't one: the jeep does the altitude, which changes who can come along. The jeep is private and comes with its own driver, and the hotel transfer at either end is included. Breakfast happens on the roof of the jeep, with hot tea, coffee or chocolate, while the sky comes up over the volcano. The guide takes the photographs along the way, so the morning is not spent handing a phone back and forth. Entrances and fees are in the price. Pickup does not cover Uluwatu, Amed, Lovina, Tabanan or Karangasem, and the minimum age is seven.
