Batur Jeep to the 1963 Lava Field, with a Hot Spring After

The lava you drive across came out of the mountain in 1963, which is recent enough that very little grows on it yet. That is the second half of this trip and the part that separates it from every other Batur sunrise. The first half is the sunrise itself, watched from the mountain without walking up it. The vehicle is a classic 4WD jeep with a local driver, and breakfast is simple and eaten while the light comes up. After that the route crosses the black lava field, with Batur and Lake Batur behind it in every photograph, and then goes on through pine forest. A coffee farm stop is optional, with coffee, tea and chocolate to taste. The natural hot spring comes at the end.
