La Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Ecological Park and a Hot River, at an Easy Pace
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
La FortunaThree stops, and none of them asks much of you. The walking is short and the gradients are gentle, which is what makes this itinerary work for anyone who wants the sights without a demanding day behind them. La Fortuna Waterfall comes first. Then the Arenal ecological park, where the trails run through the forest and the guides work at spotting what lives in it. That is the part of the day where having a guide changes what you actually see rather than what you are told. The last stop is a natural hot river, warm enough to sit in and open for swimming. The guides talk through the area as they go, the natural side of it and the way people here live alongside the volcano.
