Jogja Culture in a Day: Prambanan First, Then Borobudur and the Merapi Jeep

Yogyakarta, or Jogja, holds Borobudur and Prambanan and several hundred other ancient sites, and this day takes them in a different order from most. Prambanan comes first. The complex is large, with Hindu temples as the main structures and a Buddhist temple standing among them, and walking it properly takes one to two hours. Borobudur is second: ancient architecture with a story carved into most walls and corners of it. Merapi is the rest, and it is the easy part.
