Borobudur Climb-Up, Merapi and Prambanan with the Queues Handled
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
YogyakartaAll the tickets are bought by the operator before you arrive, so the ticket counters at each site are somebody else's problem. That includes the climb-up ticket for Borobudur. Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world, and the country around it is part of what people come for. Merapi is reached from close range in a 4x4 jeep. It is one of the most active volcanoes in Indonesia, and the way people here talk about it explains why they stay: the mountain gives the soil its fertility and everything grows in it, and when the mountain is angry it takes back what is around it. Prambanan is the third stop, another UNESCO site, with the rest of the complex around the main temples. The driver speaks English, is flexible on the route, and collects and returns you at your hotel. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.
