Ponta DelgadaA shared buggy on the tracks above Sete Cidades, with the crater and the two lakes below. Before anyone drives, the paperwork. A driving licence valid in Portugal has to be shown, and every driver signs a liability statement. A security deposit of €500 per vehicle is held on a credit card and cancelled within 72 hours after the tour. The vehicles carry third-party insurance only, so any damage is the client's responsibility. The briefing is at the ANC buggy and quad tours office, and the tour finishes back there.
