Off-road vehicles, certified guides, and stops short enough that everyone in the group can manage them. The meeting point has parking and a bar for breakfast before the start. The first stop is on or above the longest lava flow of the twentieth century, with a short walk on the sciara, which is the Sicilian word for the field of broken lava a flow leaves behind. Then the most panoramic point over the Valle del Bove. An off-road stretch climbs higher, and at around 2,000 metres the group walks around a volcano on foot. After that, with the safety equipment on, into a lava flow tunnel. The tasting at the end is free, and it takes place at the oldest producer of honey and typical products in Zafferana.

What's included

  • Rock helmet, torches, sticks.
  • Tasting typical products of Etna
