Ecoglide Canopy on the Arenal Slopes: Double Rope System, Ages 3 to 90

Ecoglide runs the only canopy course on the slopes of the Arenal Volcano itself, and the only one that works on a double rope system: one line to slide on and a second attached as backup. Two ropes rather than one is the whole safety argument here. The park is fully accessible, and the age range the operator accepts runs from 3 to 90. That is the stated range, not a rounding. From the cables the views take in the volcano, the town of La Fortuna and the rainforest in between. Being inside the forest, animals turn up on most days. There is a complimentary drink at the end. Professional photographers work the course if you want the run recorded, which is worth thinking about: on a zip line both your hands are already busy.
