Arenal Canopy and Horseback Riding: Trails on Horseback, Cables Through the Trees

Two ways of covering the same forest, one after the other. The horseback section works the trails at ground level, at the pace a horse sets. That is the slow half of the day, and the half where you notice what is around you. The zip lines are the other half, through the trees rather than under them, and quick enough that the forest turns into something you pass rather than something you study. The change of pace between the two is what makes the combination work.
