La FortunaGo Adventure Park runs its canopy course above the canyon of the Arenal River: 13 platforms and 9 cables, with rainforest on either side of them. What separates it from the other canopy courses around La Fortuna is the rappel. Fifty metres, straight down, on a rope rather than a cable, which is a different physical proposition from sliding along one. From the platforms the wildlife is close enough to identify. All three kinds of monkey that live in this zone are here, along with toucans, hummingbirds and sloths. The hot springs afterwards are included, at the Montaña de Fuego Resort, which is where the day ends.
