Vino, Cucina e Territorio: Lacryma Christi Under Vesuvius
Ratings collected by Tiqets
The wine is Lacryma Christi, grown on the slopes of Vesuvius, and the tour is named after the three things it covers: the wine, the cooking, and the ground both of them come from. It starts among the vines, on foot. From up there the Gulf of Naples is laid out below, with Sorrento along the coast and Capri out in the water. Then the cellar, and how the wine is actually made here, which on volcanic soil is not quite the same conversation as anywhere else. The tasting comes last, with local food alongside the wines, and lunch is part of it.
