Three, Four or Five Hours out of Ammoudi, Open Bar Aboard

The cruise runs 3, 4 or 5 hours, and the length changes the route: the White Beach, Mesa Pigadia and the Red Beach are only reached on the 4 and 5 hour versions. It starts and finishes at Ammoudi Bay, the old fishing port below Oia. Thirasia is the first island, good for swimming, with the village of Manolas on the cliff above it looking much as it always has. Then the hot springs by the volcano, and the white cliffs at Aspronisi. The boat works along coast that no road reaches, past hidden caves and the old port of Fira under the cliffs. The food is Greek, with a BBQ main course, and the bar is open: Santorini wine, ouzo, beer, juice and soft drinks, served at the shaded table on the sun deck. The boat is private, so either you set the route or the captain does.
