Santorini Sea Kayak from the Cave of Nikolas, Akrotiri

Three hours of paddling along the south coast, under the volcanic cliffs, past the Red and White beaches and into the sea caves cut into the rock at the waterline. Seen from a kayak the coast reads differently from how it reads off a cruise boat. You are at the foot of the cliffs rather than looking across at them, and the caves are only enterable at this scale. This is the introductory tour, so previous kayaking counts for nothing: all levels of experience are welcome. There are stops for snorkelling and for a swim, and a picnic. The base is on Akrotiri beach. Walk along it and you will find it next to the restaurant everybody knows, the Cave of Nikolas.
