Peñas Blancas Safari Float: Wildlife Watched from the Water

The Peñas Blancas is a slow river, and a safari float works with that: the raft goes with the current while the guide reads the banks. What you are watching for lives at two levels. In the trees along the water there are the arboreal species, and in the river itself the aquatic ones. Coming in by water, and quietly, changes the behaviour you get to see: animals that would move off at the sound of a vehicle stay where they are.
