Lanzarote by E-Bike: La Geria, Timanfaya and the Sunset

Four hours on an electric mountain bike, which is what makes this ground rideable: the ash and lava fields of Lanzarote are neither flat nor tarmac. The meeting point is Avenida del Jablillo in Costa Teguise. From there the route goes into Los Volcanes Natural Park, between the lava and the ash, past the crops that grow here anyway: vineyards, prickly pear and fig trees. There is a stop at a winery in La Geria, where the wine of the island gets explained properly. The ride then goes into Timanfaya National Park and climbs one of the highest points on the island, with the Caldera Blanca and the Timanfaya volcanoes laid out below. The last thing is the sunset, before the ride back to the start.
