Etna Sunset from Catania: Five Hours, Old Craters and a Lava Cave
Five hours, guided, leaving from Catania in the afternoon. The route works old craters and lava flow caves, which puts it at the more active end of the Etna trips: the walking is on natural paths inside the Etna park, and the cave is entered with helmets and lamps. The sunset is the reason for the timing, watched from the highest active volcano in Europe. A tasting of typical local products breaks the return. Hotel pick-up and drop-off are available as an option, from the addresses the operator covers. Otherwise the tour starts and ends at Piazza Stesicoro.
