Desafío Mambo Combo: Lost Canyon Rappels, Balsa Rafting and El Salto Buffet

Two activities that rarely come in the same day: rappelling down waterfalls in a canyon, then rafting a jungle river. Very few places in the world put both within one drive of each other. The canyoning half is Lost Canyon Adventures, on rope and under falling water. The rafting half is the Balsa, class 2 and 3, which is the grade that keeps everyone paddling without asking for previous experience. Lunch is a tropical buffet at Desafío's Hunters and Gatherers restaurant, all natural and as much as you want. It stands next to El Salto, the swimming hole people know on the Río Fortuna. Pick-up is from your hotel in the Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna area.
