Private Mount Rainier Day Trip from Seattle, Itinerary Set with Your Guide
A private day at Mount Rainier National Park for your party alone, starting in Seattle. Your guide drives a Pearl Chevrolet Suburban LTZ, and there is no fixed script: you plan the stops together, which means the tour can reach places in the park that the operator's shared tour does not. How the day feels is your call. Some groups want trail time and plenty of it. Others would rather ride between viewpoints and waterfalls at an easy pace. Once inside the park there are five to six hours to spend either way. The stops the operator lists pass through the small mountain towns of Elbe and Ashford, then go up to Christine Falls, Narada Falls and Paradise, where many of the park's best trails start and the visitor center has just been remodeled. Longmire, the part of the park that stays open all year, has a museum, a small gift shop and a loop trail. Winter changes the plan. From November to April the tour can only use park roads that do not require chains, so Paradise, Christine Falls and Narada Falls are often out of reach. Most of the day then happens at Longmire, and snowshoes are provided instead. The park entrance fee and gratuities are included. Lunch is not: there is a stop for it, but you pay for your own. A booking takes up to 15 travelers. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.
