Etna Half Day from Taormina: Lava Cave, Park Trails and Local Tastings
Half a day rather than a full one, collected from your accommodation in Taormina or Giardini Naxos. The route goes to old craters and lava flow caves, which is the more physical end of what Etna trips do: the cave is entered with a helmet and lamps, and the walking is on natural paths inside the Etna park. The other half of the name is the food. Typical local products are tasted along the way, on the highest active volcano in Europe. Three pick-up points serve Taormina, at Piazza Duomo, the Ancient Theatre and Nike di Kalkis, along with accommodation in Giardini Naxos.
