Etna at 2,000 m and Taormina Free Time, with Isola Bella Viewpoint
Etna has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013, and the part of it this trip visits is the Silvestri craters at 2,000 metres above sea level, where the cones are walkable and the ground is black. A tasting of typical products comes with that stop. On the way to Taormina there is a short break above the Isola Bella nature reserve, which is the view most people know from photographs of this coast without knowing its name. Taormina itself is free time, and it is the most photographed town in Sicily for a reason. You can walk Corso Umberto on your own, or book a certified tourist guide, which costs extra and has to be arranged when you book rather than decided on the day.
