Une semaine de voile dans les îles Éoliennes, avec cuisine à bord et skipper inclus
Une semaine en bateau avec un skipper et un assistant, au départ de Lipari, avec visite de toutes les îles de l'archipel. Commençons par les détails pratiques, car c'est inhabituel. L'équipage s'occupe de la navigation, des petits-déjeuners, des déjeuners et des apéritifs, et la cuisine est approvisionnée avant ton arrivée, en fonction des préférences alimentaires que tu nous communiques à l'avance. Mais tu cuisines les repas et nettoies la cuisine, et un fonds commun est organisé à l'arrivée. Personne ne te sert. L'arrivée se fait tous les samedis à 17h00 à Marina di Porto Pignataro sur Lipari, où a lieu un briefing sur la sécurité et où les cabines sont attribuées. Le départ se fait le samedi suivant avant 8h00, bien que tu puisses débarquer la veille au soir si tu préfères. Si tu arrives en hydroglisseur, réserve le minibus gratuit qui part de l'arrêt de Lipari jusqu'au port. L'itinéraire comprend toutes les îles. La côte est de Vulcano, où le cratère a montré des signes d'activité depuis la dernière éruption en 1889, et les évents sous-marins de Porto di Levante qui transforment une partie de la mer en un tourbillon de vapeur. Gelso, une plage de sable noir sous un phare, avec l'Etna au-delà de la côte sicilienne par temps clair. Salina, et une granita chez Alfredo. Filicudi, la Grotta del Bue Marino et La Canna, un rocher qui émerge des profondeurs sur plus de 70 mètres. Alicudi, qui n'a pas de discothèques, pas de pubs, pas de banques et pas de distributeurs automatiques, où les ânes transportent les marchandises et où les ruelles sont faites de lave. Pollara, où le film "Le facteur" a été tourné. Panarea, Basiluzzo et Lisca Bianca, et Cala Junco avec son village de l'âge du bronze au-dessus. Stromboli, que l'itinéraire contourne à une distance de sécurité, avec le cratère qui entre en éruption au-dessus de la Sciara del Fuoco. Jusqu'à six personnes, enfants de tout âge, et petits chiens sont acceptés lors de locations privées. Plusieurs nuits sont passées à l'ancre. Une condition, exprimée clairement : tous les achats sont définitifs et les annulations ne sont pas remboursées.

If you book it, the Porto Pignataro minibus will be waiting at the Lipari hydrofoil stop when you arrive, and will take you to the boat's mooring free of charge.
Lipari
At 5 pm the skipper and the assistant meet you at Marina di Porto Pignataro on Lipari for the safety briefing, the allocation of cabins and the setting up of the common fund. Before you arrive the galley will have been stocked, based on the preferences and dietary needs you sent in advance. Cooking the meals and cleaning the kitchen are yours to do.
Lipari
After breakfast at Porto Pignataro on Lipari, the boat sails the east coast of Vulcano, where the crater shows signs of renewed activity many years after the last eruption of 1889. Then past Porto di Levante and its underwater fumaroles, which put out enough steam to turn that stretch of sea into a whirlpool.
Isola Vulcano
By lunchtime, Gelso: a black sand beach, quiet and little used, under a lighthouse, with a view on a clear day across to the Saracen coast of Sicily and as far as Etna.
Isola di Salina
In the afternoon, the west coast of Vulcano, with the pool of Venus and the Horse cave, along with bays that keep their secrets, rock walls and seabed full of marine life. Towards evening, the stacks of Lipari and the sunset, then Salina, a granita at Alfredo's, dinner and a night in the harbour.
Filicudi
A slow start on Salina, then the crossing to Filicudi. Lunchtime at the village of Pecorini a Mare, with a stop at the sea turtle rescue centre.
In the afternoon we will sail to Alicudi
In the afternoon, Alicudi, the furthest out and the wildest of the Aeolians, where life runs slowly against rough, empty ground. There are no discos, no pubs, no banks and no cash machines. There is a small restaurant with an atmosphere of its own, and fishermen who will have you to dinner at home. The paths suit a mule, which is the only transport on the island, and the lanes are lava stone. Night at anchor.
Grotta del bue marino
A slow start on Alicudi. Anyone who wants to walk will find themselves on old lava stone stairways, built by hand by the people who lived here and still the only way to get around. Then on to Filicudi, for a swim at the Grotta del Bue Marino and a look at La Canna, a stack that rises more than 70 metres out of deep water.
Isola di Salina
After lunch, the bay of Pollara on Salina, known for its shape: cliffs with things hidden along them. The vegetation here is thick and untouched, which is why Il Postino was filmed on this bay.

Round the island to Santa Marina, a small town on the slopes of a huge crater, the Fossa delle Felci. This is the busiest part of Salina, with shops and bars that fill up in the evening. The night is spent in this bay.
Panarea
In the morning, Panarea, where islets and rocks make an archipelago of their own on a single volcanic base, which is why divers come here. Diving and lunch at the Ship Rock.
Stromboli Volcano
Then on towards Stromboli, which is permanently active. The boat passes in front of the Sciara del Fuoco at a proper distance, with the explosions from the crater above.

The north coast of Stromboli, where the villas are, and Strombolicchio: an old volcanic chimney worn down to a rock, uninhabited and topped by a lighthouse. Anchor for the night in Scari Bay.
Isola di Basiluzzo
Basiluzzo, where the diving is about colour: astroides, sponges, gorgonians, orange madrepores and starfish along the white wall of the monolith, and White Bone with its sulphur springs.
Panarea
In the afternoon, Lisca Bianca near Panarea, a volcanic island with clear water and underwater fumaroles, part of the Aeolian nature reserve and known for its seabed.

Cala Zimmari for the last of it, a few minutes on foot from the village, or by golf cart. The night is spent here in the harbour.

Breakfast at Cala Junco, counted among the finest bays in Italy, and a look at the Bronze Age village on the headland above it. A swim in the natural amphitheatre, and lunch.
In the afternoon we will reach the White Beaches of Lipari…
In the afternoon, the White Beaches of Lipari, where the volcanic ground is obvious from the water: the seabed is white pumice sediment, and the sea over it is warm and hard turquoise. Back at Porto Pignataro on Lipari around 4 pm. Disembarkation can happen that evening or on the Saturday before 08:00. If you stay, the night aboard is ours to offer.
