Zwei Guides an einem Tag, jeder für das, was er am besten kennt. Ein Archäologe zeigt dir am Morgen Pompeji; ein Wanderführer begleitet dich am Nachmittag zum Vulkan. Pompeji umfasst das Forum, die Hauptstraße sowie die Häuser und Gebäude, die zeigen, wie die Stadt vor dem Ausbruch von 79 n. Chr. funktionierte. Der Transfer zum Vesuv erfolgt mit einem Kleinbus, für bis zu 14 Personen. Vom Eingang aus sind die ersten 30 Minuten des Aufstiegs steil. Der Krater oben raucht noch, und die Aussicht vom Rand bietet einen Blick auf den Golf von Neapel. Die Tour beginnt und endet am Haupteingang der Ruinen von Pompeji, Porta Marina Superiore. Geschlossene Schuhe sind für den Vulkan unerlässlich.

    Transfer to Vesuvius. At the top the crater still smokes slightly, and the view takes in the Bay of Naples, Capri, Ischia and the edge of the Sorrento coast. The last 500 m is a very steep climb, and closed shoes are essential. At the end the group returns to the main entrance of the Pompeii ruins, Porta Marina Superiore.
