La FortunaHier sind zwei Stunden Fahrzeit, mit Fahrzeiten, die Halte für Halte veröffentlicht werden. Zuerst gibt es eine Sicherheitsbriefing und eine kurze Probefahrt, damit niemand die Maschine direkt auf dem Weg lernt. Die Route führt dann nach La Guaria, einem Dorf in der Landschaft mit einer Kirche und einer traditionellen "pulpería", wo du sehen kannst, wie die Menschen hier tatsächlich leben. Offene Wege führen zum Arenal-Fluss, wetterabhängig, wo die Gruppe für Fotos, einen frischen Obstsnack und ein Bad für alle, die möchten, Halt macht. Der letzte Abschnitt führt zurück nach La Naciente, wobei du unter dem Regenwald-Blätterdach von La Fortuna auf schlammigen Pfaden und über unebenem Gelände fährst. Die Abholung und der Transfer dauern jeweils etwa 30 Minuten, oder du kannst direkt ins Büro kommen, 10 Minuten vor dem Start.

The base is about 4 kilometres west of downtown La Fortuna, on secondary route 142 towards the Arenal Volcano, Alajuela Province, La Fortuna, 21007. Arriving directly means being there 10 minutes before the start: 7:50 for the 8:00 tour, 11:20 for the 11:30, 2:50 for the 3:00. The wait is five minutes, after which the booking counts as a no-show.
La Fortuna
Pick-up takes about 30 minutes, collecting people from downtown La Fortuna and the hotels nearby. Anyone who prefers can come directly to the Original Arenal ATV office instead.

- The minimum age to drive an ATV is 14 years old. The minimum age for passengers is 5 years old, and they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- It is required to wear closed shoes for the activity and sunglasses are recommended.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and bringing a change of clothes if needed.
- This is not a private activity; it is a group experience shared with other participants.
- Regular rain in La Fortuna is not a reason to cancel the tour, as it is part of the tropical rainforest experience.
- In case of thunderstorms, we will wait up to 30 minutes after the scheduled tour time, since they usually last between 15 and 30 minutes. If conditions do not improve after this period, the activity will be modified or canceled.
- We will send you a message with your pick-up location and time, which will depend on your hotel’s location. Please be ready at the scheduled pick-up time. We will wait a maximum of 5 minutes. If you are not present within this 5-minute period, the reservation will be marked as a no-show and the full amount will apply.
- For direct arrivals at the farm, the scheduled arrival time is 10 minutes before the tour start time: 7:50 AM for the 8:00 AM tour, 11:20 AM for the 11:30 AM tour, and 2:50 PM for the 3:00 PM tour. We will wait up to 5 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. After that, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.
- To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, we include a short practice ride before the tour. If a participant is not able to drive safely, they can still enjoy the experience as a passenger within their group. Please note that the reservation secures the ATV space, so refunds do not apply if it is not used as a driver.
- Depending on the rain, crossing the Arenal River may not be possible. In such cases, we will not cross the river for safety reasons.
