MauiUngefähr 75 Prozent von Maui sind zu Fuß nicht erreichbar. Das Gelände ist zu steil und der Regenwald zu dicht, was ein Argument dafür ist, ein Helikopter anstelle eines Mietwagens zu nehmen. Der Flug startet am Kahului Heliport und führt zum nordöstlichen Rand des Haleakala-Kraters, überquert dann den Regenwald von Ost-Maui, über die Wasserfälle darin und entlang der Küste. Die Erzählung gehört zur Flugtour und wird von jemandem erzählt, der weiß, was sich darunter befindet. So sieht die Insel von oben aus: inaktive Vulkane, alte Lavaströme, Regenwald und Täler, in denen Wasser herabfließt. Air Maui ist das letzte Hangar auf der linken Seite am Heliport. Air Maui Helicopter Tours
Maui helicopter tours meet at the Kahului Heliport, which is easy to find. From the air the island reads as dormant volcanoes, rough lava flows, tropical rainforest and deep valleys with waterfalls in them. Roughly 75% of Maui cannot be reached on the ground, because of the terrain and the forest, which is what the flight is for.

- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Weight restrictions: For a single passenger booking weighing 240lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 420lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
- We recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour

- Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
- Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
- Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
- Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
- No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.
- Customers must pay for parking with the QR code at the entrance of the heliport. We have the QR code in our office as well. CREDIT CARD ONLY.
- Up to 6 travelers per booking.
- Mobile or paper ticket accepted
