Seongeup Folk Village

A village kept as it was, with stones piled on the roofs to hold them against the wind. The houses and defences here were built against Japanese invasion and have stood since the Joseon dynasty, which is why they are protected as folk relics.

Seopjikoji

Seopjikoji sits at the end of Jeju's eastern shore, at its best in April when the canola is out. Seopji is the old name for the area and koji is Jeju dialect for a sudden rise in the ground. What you find here moves with the season: the yellow flower field from late February to mid April, cherry blossom on Noksan-road from late March to mid April, hydrangeas at Honinji Pond from late May to early July, pink muhly at Donghwa Village from late September to mid November.

Seongsan Ilchulbong

Guests who choose to climb are guaranteed 50 minutes on the cone, and the women divers perform at 14:00. The entrance ticket is bought on site and is not in the tour price. Seongsan Ilchulbong, Sunrise Peak, is a tuff cone thrown up by hydrovolcanic eruptions on a shallow seabed about five thousand years ago. It stands 182 metres, holds a bowl-shaped crater, and the sea cliff has cut it open enough to show its inner structure. People say it looks like a castle.

[Haenyeo Diving Performance] Watch Jeju’s legendary sea…

The haenyeo go into the water without oxygen tanks while you watch, which is how they have always fished. If the performance cannot run, the Haenyeo Museum replaces it.

Manjanggul Lava Tube

Manjanggul is one of the finest UNESCO lava tunnels anywhere: underground passages, rock formations, and the volcanic history of Jeju written along the walls.

Haenyeo Museum

If the haenyeo show is cancelled, the group visits the Haenyeo Museum instead, and the Ilchulbong walk is dropped with it.

Hamdeok Beach

Drop-off only. Because of timing, guests can end their day at this beach but cannot rejoin the group or get back on the vehicle afterwards.

Dongmun Market

Drop-off only, and the end of the tour. You can finish here at the traditional market and eat street food. No guiding at this stop.

Hueree Natural Life Park

Hueree Natural Park has seasonal flowers, easy paths and quiet countryside, and you can end the tour here. Between 10 July and 19 September it can be swapped for Oedolgae Rock. Admission is not in the tour price: 8,000 KRW per person in cash, 12,000 KRW by card, paid to the guide on site. Optional: feeding the black pigs, 2,000 KRW paid on site. In winter, tangerine picking at an orchard nearby, also paid on site.

Jeongbang Waterfall

Jeongbang Waterfall falls straight into the sea. If bad weather closes access, the stop becomes Cheonjiyeon Waterfall.

Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff

Black hexagonal columns along the coast, standing like a folding screen. Tangerine picking is optional here in winter.

O’sulloc Tea Museum

Jeju's best known tea museum, the green tea fields around it, and green tea desserts.

Eoseungsaengak Trail

Weather dependent, and can change to the 1100 Altitude Wetland or Saebyeol Oreum. An easy trail with Hallasan and the volcanic ground of Jeju in view.
